e-Breakfast: Food Loss and Waste



 

The 'e-Breakfast' sessions provide an excellent opportunity for networking, exchanging ideas, and engaging in meaningful discussions with fellow partners. During these breakfast meetings, partners will have the chance to learn about each other's work, ask questions, and share valuable insights that could spark potential collaborations. This will help you gain a deeper understanding of the EIT Food community and contribute to the transformation we are driving within the agrifood ecosystem

This webinar will be highly engaging and visual, lasting no more than one hour. Each session will feature an expert, a partner, and a startup, who will share their perspectives on a specific topic related to their work, with time allocated for networking and interaction among participants. On April 30th at 10am, the topic will be 'Food Loss and Waste.' We will be joined by experts/startups who will present their projects, missions, roles within EIT Food, and areas of expertise:

Impact Hub Istanbul: Impact Hub Istanbul is part of a global network of innovation hubs that support social entrepreneurs and innovators. It provides a collaborative space for individuals working on sustainable solutions to social, environmental, and economic challenges. The organization fosters community building, networking, and growth for impact-driven businesses and projects.

Mimica: Mimica is a company focused on reducing food waste through innovative supply chain solutions. They developed a technology that uses smart labels to detect spoilage in food products, improving inventory management and reducing waste. Their mission is to create a more sustainable food system by providing better transparency in food storage and freshness.

Color Sensing: Color Sensing is a technology company specializing in precise color detection and analysis solutions. They provide tools for various industries, including manufacturing, design, and quality control, to ensure accurate color matching and consistency. Their technology improves efficiency and quality in processes where color precision is essential.
