i-Danha Food Lab Annual Event

The Annual Event i-Danha Food Lab is organized by BGI and Food4Sustainability CoLAB and sponsored by the Municipality of Idanha-a-Nova, and it bringa together investors, companies, startups and entrepreneurs working in the agri-food industry. .

This event aims to bring together food stakeholders (from seed to distribution and final consumption) with the aim of creating a community that works together to achieve great things in the sector. One of the main objectives of this event is to make advances in terms of sustainable agriculture, circular economy in food production, minimizing waste and facing a big problem: population increase and the need for food with more sustainable productions (e.g. biological and non-genetically modified seeds).
This year, in the event we will present the results of some of our EIT Food's projects: HelpFood 4.0, Grow Workshops and Feel Local.

The i-Danha Food Lab takes place on the 4th, 5th and 6th of November, in the village of Monsanto, considered the "most Portuguese village in Portugal".
